Weekly pick up on Mondays Customers are billed along with their water bill from the city Customers are provided with a green wheeled 95-gallon garbage cart. Additional garbage carts are available to rent. See the online order form. Residents are able to put our one free large item per week If you have a large amount of extra garbage from a clean up project that won’t fit in cans or bags, place it neatly at the curb in a manageable pile that one driver can handle.

Recycling Pickup

Every Other Week

Recyclables are collected every other week on your regular pick up day. ONLY recyclables should be placed in the green with blue lid 95-gallon recycle cart. Please remove recyclables from all plastic trash bags and ensure they are properly cleaned.

Our rural collection is in many ways very similar to the service we provide within city limits. We will provide you with one 95 gallon trash can. However, should you need extra space, we will also accept extra compatible cans at no extra charge. Rural service includes one free large item as well. Please have your cans out for collection by 6 A.M. Also please call our office to confirm your pickup day

Recycling Guidelines

 
We ask for all recyclables to be unbagged and loose INSIDE your provided can

Residential Collection Guidelines

  • Time:
    • Have waste ready for collection no later than 6:00 am
  • Household Garbage:
    • Waste must be placed in provided container, however you’re welcome to use similarly compatible cans.
    • Containers smaller than 20 gallons or containers that are not built specifically to be used as a trash can will be disposed of
    • Drums and barrels are not allowed
  • Heavy Trash:
    • No sticker is required for large goods, charges will be automatically applied.
    • Heavy trash/bulk waste includes waste that is not generated on a regular basis, including:
      • Furniture (couch, table, mattress, box spring, desk, dresser, etc.)
      • Fencing/Decking/Siding (please remove nails, cut into lengths 4′ or less, and tie and bundle under 50 pounds, limit two bundles per service day)
      • Basketball goals (broken down into sections 4′ or shorter, no concrete in base or poles)
      • Carpeting/Flooring (please cut into lengths 4′ or shorter and tie and bundle under 50 pounds, limit two bundles per service day)
  • Yard Waste
    • No waste is to be collected currently.
