How to Ensure Your Container Is Serviced on Pickup Day

To help Midwest Disposal provide safe, reliable, and efficient service, please follow these guidelines on your scheduled collection day:

Your container must be clearly visible to the driver, with at least 50 feet of unobstructed access in front of it.
Ensure the service area is clear of pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and free of low-hanging wires or tree branches.
If your dumpster or toter is stored in an enclosure, the access must be at least 12 feet wide, with gates that can swing open a full 180°.
If your container is mobile, it must be returned to its designated pickup location on service days.
Keep lids closed at all times. Do not place extra bags on top of or next to the container.
To maintain a clean and sanitary area, we recommend bagging all trash before placing it in the dumpster or toter.
If the container is locked with a personal lock, please unlock it before service or provide a key or access code to our team. You can include this information during the checkout or setup process.
If we are unable to service your container due to access or safety issues, please contact us to schedule a return pickup.
If you need to reschedule service, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
